Prasada Rao on Tuesday has asked the government to reconstitute ‘Attacks Prevention Committees’ comprising of journalists, police officials and other neutral persons to protect reporters from physical attacks in the State. Along with APUWJ Vizianagaram district president V. Mahapatro and vice presidents Panchadi Apparao and Aripaka Ramu, he strongly condemned the murder of Jaganmohan Reddy, a journalist in V. Kota, Chittoor district.
