Addressing the media at Swamimalai after offering prayers at Sri Swaminathaswamy Temple on Tuesday, April 14, Mr. Anbumani said crime against girls and women, especially sexual assaults, had increased during the current regime. There was no security for womenfolk in the State. Several leaders had ruled the State, but such a situation never existed before.
