Photo credit: X/ ANI The Mussorrie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) rejected the map and construction permit of the proposed mall cum residential unit near the high security zone of the Indian Military Academy (IMA). The development came after The Hindu reported that IMA, in multiple letters to the State authorities, has objected to the approval for the construction of the mall which the defence authorities stated was granted without obtaining the mandatory No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Army.
