The construction of residential quarters for MLAs and MLCs in Amaravati has been completed and the facilities are nearly ready for inauguration, according to officials from Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL).

The State government has built a total of 288 flats to accommodate members of both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council. Officials said the number of units would be sufficient even in the event of a future delimitation of Assembly constituencies.
