AIDSO asks eight questions to State govt. to counter eight guarantees

The State government’s announcement of eight guarantees to improve school education in three years has come under fire from AIDSO that has placed eight questions before the former expressing doubts over the functioning of government schools.

The guarantee is that one teacher per class will be provided in primary schools up to class 5 and subject-wise teachers from class 6. There are over 97,680 vacancies in the State’s 19,536 primary schools. When will teachers be recruited?
