Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday (January 30, 2026) conducted raids on the properties of some Judiciary Department employees in Krishna, NTR and Guntur districts, Dagadarthi Tahsildar in Nellore district, and on the Sub-Registrar’s office in Kadiyam, East Godavari district. During the search at the office of Kadiyam Sub-Registrar, Eppili Lakshmi, in East Godavari district, ₹79,000 was seized from her room. The officer worked as a Sub-Registrar (Grade-I) in Samalkot and has been working in Kadiyam since October 2024. Searches are continuing, the investigation officers said. On credible information that the Dagadarthi Mandal Revenue Officer (Tahsildar), Pala Krishna, acquired assets disproportionate to his legal source of income, the ACB officials conducted searches on the assets of the Tahsildar. Raids were conducted in different locations on the properties of the relatives and friends of the Tahsildar, the ACB officials said. In a separate case, multiple teams were conducting searches on the properties of some Judiciary Department employees, who were facing corruption allegations, in Guntur, Krishna and NTR Districts. Raids were being conducted at five places, including the kith and kin of the accused employees, the ACB officers said.
