The Andhra Pradesh police arrested more than 1,340 persons for reportedly posting derogatory remarks and objectionable comments on various social media platforms. Around 1,500 cases have been registered and 4,500 unlawful, objectionable and insulting contents have been removed from the social media groups in the last 18 months, said Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta.
