Delivering the keynote address, University Deputy Registrar C. Suma Ballal emphasised the evolving role of the media in a digital society. She noted that while modern media has integrated advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence, its fundamental duty remains rooted in human-centric reporting backed by solid facts and data. Ms. Ballal urged media professionals to maintain a pro-people stance, particularly concerning the conference’s core themes of global peace and ceasefire efforts.
