Construction of a road over bridge (ROB) across the level crossing on Cauvery Road near Town Railway Station in Tiruchi is set to gather momentum with the State Highways Department starting the demolition of a private building acquired for the project. The exercise was planned to be taken up early in February, but the department deferred the demolition of the apartment complex as its occupants had sought time to vacate the premises.
