Reading this brings to mind words from a person more familiar and dear to me and in fact, to all of us. I am referring to mothers. Some words always linger in our subconscious mind and tend to come to the forefront and help us just when we need them. Wherever we are, mother’s words — her unwritten rules, pithy sayings, dollops of wisdom which we often tend to ignore, and laugh at — act like an anchor to steady us during troublesome moments, echoing constantly within us, reiterating the fact that mothers “do know”.
