A railway passenger sustained a head injury in a stone-pelting incident on an EMU train on Monday. The Government Railway Police (GRP), Tambaram, have registered a case and launched an investigation. The injured man has been identified as Kannan, who works in a private firm in Tambaram. He was travelling on an EMU train bound for Chennai Beach from Chengalpattu. While the train was approaching Tambaram, miscreants standing near the tracks between Perungalathur and Tambaram allegedly pelted stones at the train.
