Residents associated with the Rani Park Walkers Association have strongly condemned an alleged arson incident in a public park in Bengaluru, where several trees were allegedly set on fire early on Monday morning.

In a press statement issued on April 27, the association expressed concern over what it described as a serious lapse in the safety of public spaces. S. Umesh, president of the association, said, “The incident not only damaged the locality’s green cover but also endangered the safety of residents who regularly use the park.”
