File. | Photo Credit: ANI Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Ladakh, the Leh Apex Body (LAB), an amalgam of socio-political-religious organisations, on Monday (April 27, 2026) advocated for a trust-building exercise and sought a meeting with Mr. Shah during his two-day tour of the Union Territory (UT) from April 30. Top leaders of the LAB urged the government to convene a meeting of the high-powered committee, composed of members of the LAB and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA), set up under the chairmanship of Mr. Shah.
