YSRCP falsely claiming credit for Google Data Centre in Vizag: TDP MLC

MLC Panchumarthi Anuradha said that while the NDA government was working to transform Visakhapatnam into a global technology hub, the YSR Congress Party(YSRCP) continued to spread negativity and attempt to claim credit for key development initiatives. She objected to YSRCP leaders taking credit for the AI-powered Google Data Centre coming up in the port city.

She alleged that the same leaders had earlier filed court petitions to stall the project, and asserted that efforts to position Visakhapatnam as an investment destination began as early as 2014 under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
