Sathyamoorthy A tiger cub was taken into captivity by the Forest department after it was found in the Muttinad reserve forest near the village of Solada in the Nilgiris forest division. Officials said local residents had noticed the tiger cub and informed the Forest department about the presence of two cubs in the village. They had not seen the mother and suspected she could have abandoned the cubs.
