Tamil Nadu witnessed an all-time high turnout of 85.1% on poll day (Thursday, April 23, 2026), as per provisional figures from the Election Commission of India (ECI). All constituencies registered a higher voter turnout, as shown in the graphic below, although, this is also a consequence of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise carried out in the State which saw the net deletion of around 68 lakh voters. Constituencies with the highest increase in voter turnout, as compared to the 2021 Assembly Elections, are highlighted in the table below.
