Bengaluru, with its unique industrial landscape, can create opportunities for deep industry–academia collaboration, enabling the SMCC to function not just as a training centre but as a problem-solving and innovation partner for multiple industries, including aerospace, defence, electronics, automotive, and advanced manufacturing, according to representatives of BITS Pilani. The centre would offer short 2-3-day intensive training programmes and six-month-long courses, in alignment with the needs of the industry.
