The Nrusimha Sagar Reservoir, earlier known as Basavapur Reservoir, was constructed in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district under the Kaleshwaram project with a storage capacity of around 11.39 TMC. Though the project was completed three years ago, it has been lying vacant without catering to the needs of downstream areas, Mr. Reddy said.
