Even the scaled down format and scorching summer heat have not deterred the pooram lovers from thronging the city. The socio-religious festival offers something to everyone — from ceremonial processions, elephants and traditional percussion ensembles. In the wake of Mundathikode fireworks unit blast, the pyro-technic show of the pooram, has been cancelled this time.
