A police officer said that the murder had clearly taken place elsewhere and the body had been disposed of at the location. | Photo Credit: Getty Images/iStockphoto A highly decomposed body of an unidentified individual, stuffed inside a gunny bag, was found in the northwestern part of Bengaluru on Friday (April 24, 2026) morning, police said. The body was discovered in a Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) layout that is currently under development near Nelamangala. The accused had disposed of the body in the park area of the layout. A preliminary police probe suggested that the body had been disposed of at least three days ago.
