A five-day national-level training programme on ‘Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship’ is being held at the Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College here. The programme is organised in association with the Ministry of Innovation Council and the All India Council for Technical Education. Around 260 students from institutes in Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are attending the programme. Assistant Director of the MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Puducherry, Preethika Sharma in her address encouraged students to become entrepreneurs. She explained how entrepreneurs could develop their ventures with the support of government schemes.
