The Samastha Kerala Madrasa Management Association (SKMMA) has urged the State government to withdraw its recent order rescheduling the timing of support coaching classes for academically weak students in schools, citing concerns over a clash with madrasa schedules. The General Education department has revised the coaching hours from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. SKMMA leaders pointed out that the new timing overlaps with morning madrasa classes, forcing students to choose between religious education and academic support.
