In a striking turnaround, the long-underperforming Kalyana Karnataka region has registered a sharp improvement in SSLC (Class 10) results this year, breaking its pattern of occupying the bottom rungs in State rankings and signalling a broader shift in learning outcomes.

The region recorded an overall pass percentage of 91.6% in 2026, a massive jump of nearly 20 percentage points from last year’s 71.7% across all three exams.
