The Hyderabad City Police has expanded the Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) from two teams to five specialised units as part of efforts to curb drug-related offences. A new H-NEW office was inaugurated at Rajendranagar on Thursday (April 23). Officials said the unit would focus on prevention, detection, raids, seizures, investigation and prosecution of narcotics cases.
