Shingam Shivaji, All India Organ Donors Association State general secretary | Photo Credit: HANDOUT The All India Organ Donors Association’s State general secretary Shingam Shivaji on Thursday has asked the government to provide contract and outsourcing jobs to family members of organ donors so that more people would come forward for organ donation in case of the death of their loved ones. In a press release, he said that the association has written letters to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav, requesting to consider the suggestion of providing jobs. He said that felicitating family members of organ donors on Independence and Republic Day would motivate people to come forward for organ donations. Mr. Shivaji also suggested a lesson be incorporated in schoolbooks so that children get motivated to the noble cause.
