A total of 75 medical shops across Telangana were found violating norms in the sale of weight loss drugs during a State-wide enforcement drive conducted by the Drugs Control Administration (DCA) on Thursday, April 23.

The special drive, carried out across multiple districts, focused on drugs containing Tirzepatide and Semaglutide, including widely used brands such as Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus, along with their generic equivalents that have recently entered the market following patent expiries.
