As polling ended at 6 p.m. on Thursday (April 23, 2026), Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPATs), and other materials were packed and transported to two counting centres in the district.

Materials from Erode (East), Erode (West), Modakkurichi, Bhavani, Perundurai, and Anthiyur constituencies were being taken to the Government College of Engineering, Chithode, while those from Gobichettipalayam and Bhavanisagar (R) were being moved to the Government Arts and Science College, Gobichettipalayam.
