Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian delivering the keynote at Google Next 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. Google Cloud took the wraps off what it called the most ambitious overhaul of its product portfolio in years on Tuesday (April 22), using its annual Next conference to argue that the era of experimenting with artificial intelligence is officially over — and that the real work of running businesses on AI agents has begun. “The Agentic Enterprise is real,” the company declared, pointing to a staggering set of adoption numbers to back up the claim: nearly 75% of Google Cloud customers are now using its AI products, and 35 customers have crossed the 10-trillion-token threshold in the past year alone. Google’s first-party models now process more than 16 billion tokens per minute — up from 10 billion just last quarter.
