The discovery of live ammunition inside a toilet at the Divisional Railway Hospital at Pettah on Wednesday prompted intensified investigation by the Vanchiyoor police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF). According to the police, seven live rounds were recovered from a mug placed inside the toilet. It is suspected that the ammunition belongs to the RPF and is typically used in service pistols issued to security personnel.
