File | Photo Credit: PTI The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) allowed 139 voters to participate in the first phase of the West Bengal Assembly polls on Thursday (April 23) after judicial tribunals cleared their names. West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal said judges working at different tribunals have disposed of 657 cases arising from disputes under adjudication linked to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
