Tribal youth leaders prepare manifesto to highlight demands

Tamil Nadu is home to six particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTGs) — Toda, Kota, Kurumbas, Irular, Paniyan, and Kattunayakan. For this election, youngsters from these communities have prepared the ‘Tamil Nadu Tribal Youth Manifesto 2026’, listing their major demands.

The manifesto was prepared by the tribal youth leaders of Tamil Nadu, and supported by activist Prathicksha and the Institute of Grassroots Governance.
