Siva Saravanan Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman, who has fielded candidates in all the 234 Assembly seats in Tamil Nadu, on Tuesday declared that the “cash-for- votes” culture was a curse on the nation. On the final day of electioneering, Mr. Seeman held a roadshow in the Karaikudi constituency, from where he is contesting. “The situation where only the wealthy, who make up just 5% of the population, can form a government must change. If only the rich and the capitalists can come to power, that is not democracy,” he said.
