Three persons were arrested in connection with a case of stealing ₹60,300 from three friends who came from Tiruchi for election campaigning, by threatening them with a knife in Thousand Lights. The police said Vinod Kumar, 34, was standing near Sri Sai Clinic at Thousand Lights along with his friends Surender and Gautham on Sunday night. They came to the city for canvassing votes for a candidate.
