BJP State president calls for proper use of Central funds in waste management

State BJP president P. V. N. Madhav has stressed the need for better utilisation of Central funds and urged authorities to prevent resource wastage by ensuring proper functioning of waste management systems across Andhra Pradesh. He said projects funded through Finance Commission grants and implemented by panchayats must be managed effectively to promote recycling, generate resources such as biogas, and safeguard the environment and public health.

On Tuesday, Mr. Madhav said that under the ongoing Janata Varadhi programme, party leaders are directly interacting with people to understand grassroots issues. He noted that sanitation-related complaints, particularly from rural areas, are being reported in large numbers.
