B. Saroja and H. Rani | Photo Credit: By Arrangement Two women police officers posted at the Women Police Station in Vikarabad have been booked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding and accepting a bribe in connection with an official case. The accused were identified as B. Saroja, Inspector of Police, and H. Rani, Sub-Inspector of Police. According to the ACB, the officers initially demanded ₹60,000 from a complainant to issue notices under relevant legal provisions in a case registered at the station. The amount was later reduced to ₹40,000.
