The Anantapur Rural police arrested a 27-year-old man on Monday (April 20, 2026) for the alleged murder of a minor boy, within 48 hours of the crime. The boy was murdered near Pamurayi village in Anantapur Mandal on the afternoon of April 18. According to Anantapur Rural Circle Inspector N. Sekhar, accused identified as Chakali Rama Mohan suspected that the boy, from Rajaka Colony, was involved in an intimate relationship with his wife.
