Nara Bhuvaneswari handing over a cheque for ₹76 lakh towards donation to Anna Canteens in the presence of her husband and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, at the CM’s camp office on Sunday. Nara Bhuvaneswari donated ₹76 lakh to Anna Canteens on April 19 (Sunday) on the eve of her husband and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s birthday (April 20). The money will be used to serve free meal in the 269 Anna Canteens across the State. Ms. Bhuvaneswari said Anna Canteens were benefiting lakhs of poor people by ensuring food security for them with dignity, and noted that the government was providing meals through these canteens for just ₹5 in a clean and hygienic environment.
