Janardhan Reddy said that the State government has launched the “Jaladhara–Jalaharathi” initiative keeping the interests of the farmers in mind and that they are striving to boost groundwater levels across the State through the programme. “If the groundwater levels rise, farmers’ crop yields will increase, leading to a rise in their income,” the Minister said while participating in the Jaladhara-Jalaharathi programme held at Vemulapadu village in Owk mandal as part of the “Swachhandra-Swarnandhra” initiative.
