Raghavendra, Shivamogga MP, highlighted the struggle of the people of Hosanagar to have their constituency restored as a separate assembly seat. Mr. Raghavendra, speaking on the delimitation of constituencies, said that following the delimitation in 2008, Hosanagar taluk lost the assembly constituency status, and its areas were distributed among three neighbouring constituencies.
