File | Photo Credit: APIIC The State Land Allotment Committee (SLAC), at its meeting on Thursday (April 16, 2026) approved 599 applications involving a total proposed investment of ₹2,037 crore. The projects are expected to generate employment for about 11,488 people, covering 215.80 acres of industrial land across 19 districts.. A large number of investment proposals were received by the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) for allotment of industrial land across industrial parks and industrial areas in the State, an official release said. A total of 915 applications were taken up for consideration, reflecting strong and sustained investment interest in Andhra Pradesh. The approved proposals span sectors including manufacturing, MSMEs, food processing, engineering, automobiles, electronics, logistics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and allied industries.
