Tamil Nadu has more Tasmac shops than Primary Health Centres: Sarath Kumar

BJP leader, Sarath Kumar, flayed the DMK for creating a situation were there are more TASMAC shops in the State than Primary Health Centres (PHCs).

Seeking votes for his party State president, Nainar Nagenthran, here on Wednesday, Mr. Sarath Kumar said that while there was only one PHC for every 30,000 persons in Tamil Nadu, there was one TASMAC shop for every 15,000 people. “It is difficult to get medicines, but it is very easy to get (liquor) bottles”, he said.
