Door-to-door Census 2027 houselisting begins across Bengaluru; self-enumeration covers less than 2% houses

Less than 2% of total houses in the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) area were covered under self-enumeration for the National Census 2027, according to GBA officials.

Munish Moudgil, Special Commissioner, GBA (Revenue and IT), said that the self-enumeration was rolled out for the house-listing exercise between April 1 and 15. On Thursday, door-to-door visits for the house-listing exercise began and would continue until May 15.
