Census 2027: Door-to-door enumeration begins in Mysuru

With the completion of the self-enumeration phase of Census 2027, the next stage, door-to-door data collection, has commenced across Mysuru and Kodagu districts, marking a crucial step in the nationwide exercise.

In Mysuru, enumerators have begun visiting households within the Mysuru City Corporation limits, collecting and uploading responses to 33 questions related to housing and household conditions. The large-scale operation is being carried out through a dedicated mobile application, signalling a complete shift from the manual methods used during the 2011 Census of India.
