The East Division Police in Bengaluru have recovered 385 lost and stolen mobile phones worth approximately ₹1.15 crore as part of a special drive using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal. According to the police, the recovery was made during March 2026 across 14 police station limits in the East Division, where teams have been actively tracing missing mobile devices with the help of the CEIR system.
