Photo: Special Arrangement Four persons were killed and 20 injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a house at Kammaravaripalli village in Kadiri mandal of Sri Sathya Sai district on Wednesday (April 15, 2026), Superintendent of Police S. Satish said. The explosion occurred at about 12.30 p.m. and was powerful enough to demolish two houses in the village. Five of the injured are in a critical condition, police told reporters. The injured were taken to a government hospital.
