A photojournalist died here on Wednesday morning when the motorbike on which he was travelling along with his wife was reportedly hit by a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Karakkamandapam in Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as K. Gopakumar, 58, the chief photographer of the Malayalam daily Chandrika. His wife, Bindu, who was riding pillion, sustained injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital here. Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan expressed shock at his demise.
