The vacant posts include 513 senior assistant and 498 junior assistant positions, among others. Further detailing the group-wise vacant posts, it noted that there is a 52.86% vacancy in group C posts, while groups B and A have 38.32% and 32.80% vacancies respectively. DJB, which provides drinking water and manages sewage, also plays a crucial role in cleaning the Yamuna river in the national capital. Mr. Gangwal also asked when the vacant posts would be filled, to which the DJB responded that the process to fill many of the posts was under way.
