West Godavari District Collector Chadalavada Nagarani has said that the annual Mavullamma Jatara will be celebrated from January 13 at Bhimavaram. She said thousands of devotees from across the region are expected to attend the Jatara of Mavullamma, a renowned local deity. The festival will conclude on February 13. The Endowments Department has been entrusted with the conduct of the Jatara, with arrangements being made to ensure smooth conduct of rituals and convenience of devotees.
