A 12-year-old boy was found dead near Shastri Park Chowk Loop in north-east Delhi on Friday morning, prompting the police to register a murder case and launch an investigation. The police said information was received at Shastri Park police station around 9.50 a.m. A team reached the spot and found the boy lying unconscious near the loop road at Shastri Park Chowk. He was rushed to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, officials said. A case has been registered under Section 103(1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Shastri Park police station. A forensic team inspected the scene of the crime. Police said multiple teams have been formed to trace and apprehend those involved. Further investigation is under way.
