Chief Minister Rekha Gupta chairing a high-level meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat on Friday. | Photo Credit: X/@gupta_rekha The government has approved one-time financial assistance of ₹500 crore to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to strengthen the city’s sanitation system and curb dust pollution, the Chief Minister’s Office stated on Friday. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the funds would be used for sanitation works and road repairs, including filling of potholes and completing patchwork. She said ₹300 crore will be provided to the MCD annually in the coming years to improve sanitation. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat.
